the tonnes of excessive vitamins...
Nobu was referred to me by a friend who was trying
to fall pregnant. I was a believer in natural medicine ...
so I thought. I was taking a list of 17 different vitamins
from my naturopath to cope with my body's imbalances. I was
desperate. Within minutes Nobu showed me which of these MY
body needed and which I could stop, cutting it down to two.
I have been going to him for 9 months now, mostly fortnightly.
I have not been sick once like I used to. Also, I have more
relaxed muscles than ever. The truth is, I still do not understand
at all how acupuncture works, but I feel the difference. To
me, acupuncture is freeing up the energy channels that allows
my body to heal itself - which is way nature intended it.
Now I just relax and let the process work. Oh, and I was not
a needles person, so for years I had written off acupuncture
as something to consider. But the 4-5 needles Nobu does use
on each visit (not the hundreds stuck in all over the place
like you see in the movies) make way less impact than a mosquito
bite. Give Nobu a go, you will know if it is for you after
the first visit or two.

Makes the Chiropractor look silly
I have been suffering referred pain down my right leg for a few months. The doctors prescribed anti inflammatory which did little to relieve my pain. I visited the chiropractor who diagnosed 'Dynamic Lateral Entrapment' which is the lower disc of my spine collapsing and pinching the nerve causing referred pain down my right side. I had been seeing the chiro 3 times a week for 3 weeks without any change. Then one morning I was in my office in pain, so I just decided to call a nearby acupuncture specialist. I have never before tried it but was at my wits end. I go lucky when I picked East West Natural Therapies from the yellow pages; after the first visit the symptoms had dramatically reduced. I follow this with a visit to the chrio, I did not tell the chiro I had been to acupuncture. Upon his inspection the chiro noted how my back flexibility had increased, he began to take credit for it. 2 days later I once again had treatment from Nobu and followed it with another visit to the chiro. The chiro was once again amazed at the improvement in my back. This time I told him it was Nobu's acupuncture and not the chiro's work. I have now had 4 treatments and nearly all traces of my problem are gone. I highly recommend Nobu to anyone.

Sinusitis
When I was younger I hated needles the sight of them made me sick..... But now I am getting acupuncture done almost every week now for my sinusitis- this is a condition that may have to be treated by an operation, but after only 2 treatments I felt a difference in my breathing and sleeping at night. I am now on to my 5th treatment and believe that I don't need to have an operation, that a good diet and exercise regime can help my condition. If it wasn't for my mother that started going and referred me and said that she felt 50% better after her first treatment that I thought that I could give it ago without being afraid. After the treatments I feel a lot better than I have previously; my immune system has built up a lot more and I am feeling better than I have in the past. I will continue my treatments and also refer all my friends and family.

Never gave acupuncture much of a thought, partly because we are a healthy family, and partly because of my fear of needles. That was until a good friend told me about Nobu, and until a stiffness in the neck wouldn't let go of me...So I thought I'll give it a try, and, believe it or not, by the time I turned on my tummy for the second set of needles, which I didn't feel by the way, the stiffness was gone. Not only that but I was so relaxed that I had to go home for a great nap and also my body kept detoxing for a good couple of weeks after that. Fantastic experience, a real eye opener when you think that a doctor would have prescribed some pain killers probably, and a chiro would have locked me in a contract for the next god knows how long.

As a clinical educator and former practitioner of
Western style pre-hospital medicine I was reluctant to try
this seemingly obscure and non-science based approach to healing
and wellness. After years of suffering from chronic migraines
with no result from traditional approaches, I decided to give
acupuncture a try. Nobu provided me with instant results and
I no longer need to consume a variety of pain relieving and
anti-inflammatory medications just to get through the day.
It is painless, and immediate. I do not know how or why it
works but it does. I suggest any person fed up wth traditional
approaches that have not worked; give Nobu a try.

Back pain and prostate problem
A short while ago I visited Nobu's clinic for acupuncture
treatment for my chronic back pain. My pain became considerably
easier with each treatment. It was during one of the treatments
that I happened to mention to Nobu that for the past 5 years
I had been taking medication for an ‘Enlarged Prostate’
condition. To my surprise Nobu told me that he had successfully
treated this condition and that if I was willing to try it
he could help me. Well after 6 months I have been liberated
from chronic back pain and have no more difficulty urinating
without medication. I follow Nobu's advice and adhere to his
diet and exercise program. Periodically I visit Nobu for a
check up and an occasional treatment.

Immediate relief
I used to feel no energy everyday, tend to feel depressed
and had chronic migraine caused by hormornic imbalance (I
am only 32 years old!), though my doctor could not find what
caused all of them. Even on the first day I visited Nobu I
had terrible migraine, but he soon found out what caused all
my bad condition and provided treatment without any pain.
In an hour my migraine had gone and I felt my head became
clearer in a while. He also applied moxibustion on my back,
which removed even my depression after a few session. I am
feeling much better and can think positively. I appreciate

Infertility
I have known Nobu for approximately 5 years. In that time I have not only recommended my clients to Nobu, but also after having treatment for a shoulder injury I mentioned my infertility problems. After 3 years and no baby, within 3 months I was pregnant. My husband and I both had treatments and I still see Nobu for ongoing treatments. Whenever I don't feel quite right I always turn to Nobu as I know he will always have an answer.

Prolapsed organ
I have been suffering from prolapse for 5 months. Prolapse is a complex condition to treat and Western medicine has no answers for it other than surgery. I have been very fortunate to hear about Nobu through a friend 2 months ago, and I am currently under treatment with him, having tried every other alternative therapy possible (including treatments with 2 other acupuncturists, which achieved very little). I am already feeling a lot better, and able to lead a more normal existence, which is nothing short of a miracle. Nobu is an extremely skilled Japanese acupuncturist, with in-depth knowledge and training in Japanese physiotherapy as well, which in my case, is extremely useful. His diagnostic skills are equally outstanding, as are the time, care and attention he devotes to every single patient. This is holistic medicine at its best. I have had acupuncture treatments in France, Canada and Australia throughout my life, and the type of acupuncture that Nobu practices has very little to do with what I have experienced previously. It is extremely effective and precise, and its effects are long-lasting. If you have tried acupuncture, and think it does not work, think again, and go and see Nobu.
